What to expect in my classes:
A welcoming, comfortable, and body-positive environment where you will feel supported, nurtured, and motivated. Each class will begin with breath work, the essential first step to centering and guiding you into crafting your intention for your practice. I like to teach a variety of asanas, breaking them down so that proper and safe alignment is achieved. The classical surya namaskara or sun salutation is also a key component of our class. I am very much guided by the energy of the room, so each session is special and unique. Above all, I teach from my heart, sending loving and positive energy to all as they engage in their practice.
Favorite type of yoga:
I love backbends in general but Urdva Dhanurasana or Wheel pose is my ultimate favorite. It took me a long time to achieve a practice of urdva dhanurasana, and now it is so empowering, opening, and freeing to me.

I came to yoga at one of the most stressful times in my life. My husband and I were struggling to conceive and I had heard how relaxing yoga could be. It was relaxing but it was so much more for me. It changed my life. Through a devoted asana practice and Inner Wisdom® Yoga Therapy, I was able to heal my body, mind, and spirit. Yoga helped me fill in the gaps that modern medicine couldn’t. I now have a beautiful little girl. Experiencing the power of yoga and yoga therapy first hand motivated me to teach and help other women experience the benefits of yoga on whatever journey they are on. It is truly my passion and life’s calling.
