What to expect in my classes:
All levels yoga allows you to breathe and really feel the asana. These asanas allow you to strengthen, release and open, as well as find balance. Themes and affirmations are woven into the classes so that you can reflect within, and find a sense of confidence, power and peace in the mind and body.
I like any type of twisting asanas. My favorite twisting asana is Ardha Matsyendrasana. I love the benefits of this pose from how it nourishes the spine, improves digestion with the twisting, and how it opens the heart and shoulders.

Where you can learn more about me:
I came to yoga to find healing. I was experiencing a lot of anxiety, low self–esteem and anger. I held all of this in my mind and body and I suffered from depression, felt sick all the time, daily pains and tension in my body.
Yoga has reduced my anxiety and has given me the tools (breathing, meditation and yoga poses) to let go of old emotional wounds and anger. Yoga has also helped me feel stronger, take my power back and find healing in my heart.
I started off with the personal intention to teach yoga to work on my self-confidence and to overcome my fear of public speaking. I also wanted to deepen my practice as well. Yoga teacher training helped me overcome my fears and it has allowed me to become much more confident in myself. My intention now that I am teaching classes is to help guide students to feel a sense of strength and healing in their own practice.
